Wooden longtail boats moored on a teal sea below limestone cliffs

"We've done a lot of island tours in Asia. This was the first one that felt like a friend taking us out on his boat — not a conveyor belt."

Who we are

A small Ao Nang outfit, on the water since 2014.

Krabi FeelGood started with one longtail and one stubborn idea: that a day on the Andaman should feel relaxed, not rushed. No megaphones, no 40-person speedboats, no being herded off a beach the moment you've put your towel down.

These days we run a handful of boats and a team of local skippers and guides — but the idea hasn't changed. We keep groups small, we leave early, and we treat the islands like the home they are.

Phi Phi Islands Tour from Krabi by Speedboat

Phi Phi is the big day out from Krabi — a full-day speedboat run across open water to the islands most people come to Thailand to see. From Ao Nang it's a longer transfer than our local 4 Islands loop, so we start early and make a proper day of it. You'll cruise into Maya Bay, the turquoise cove made famous by the film The Beach, then slip into Pileh Lagoon, a flooded channel of emerald water walled in by towering limestone cliffs. We pass the Viking Cave, swing by Monkey Beach where the macaques come down to the sand, and anchor over the reef to snorkel among the coral and fish.

Lunch and beach time usually land on Bamboo Island, a low strip of white sand and clear shallows well north of the busiest stops. Every trip includes hotel pickup around Ao Nang and Krabi town, drinking water, fresh fruit and a friendly English-speaking crew who grew up on this coast. It's a big day with plenty of boat time — but for most travelers, seeing Phi Phi from the water is the highlight of the whole trip. Pick your speedboat below and message us on WhatsApp — we'll confirm the tide, sea conditions, pickup time and availability.

FAQ

What's included in the Phi Phi Islands tour?
Every trip includes hotel pickup and drop-off around Ao Nang and Krabi town, the speedboat, snorkelling gear and life jackets, drinking water, fresh fruit and lunch, plus a friendly English-speaking crew. The Phi Phi national-park entrance fee is usually paid separately on the day — we'll tell you the current amount when you book.
How long is the day?
It's a full day out. Because Phi Phi sits well offshore, the boat transfer is longer than the local Krabi islands, so we pick you up in the morning and you're usually back in Ao Nang by late afternoon. Expect a fair bit of time on the water — bring sunscreen and something to keep the spray off.
Is it worth it, and is it crowded?
Phi Phi is the most popular trip in the area, so Maya Bay and the main stops do get busy, especially around midday. It's still worth it — the water and limestone scenery are the best on the Andaman coast — and a speedboat lets us time the busy spots and reach quieter stretches like Bamboo Island. If you'd rather dodge the crowds, ask us about the early-bird departure.
Is the Phi Phi tour good for kids?
Yes — families do this trip often. Children get life jackets and there's snorkelling in calm, shallow spots. The main thing to weigh is the longer boat ride; on a rough-sea day it can be bumpy, so message us if you're travelling with little ones and we'll give you an honest read on conditions. Children under 4 usually travel free.
How do we book?
Booking is by WhatsApp — no online payment needed. Message us with your dates, hotel and group size and we'll confirm availability, pickup time and the tide, then hold your spots. You settle up on the day.
